Peace is community

Peace begins when we work as a community. Together, we can build and maintain resilient relationships that give us the strength to address our challenging world. This means living consciously, being generous with our time and energy, and authentically engaging with others.

First and foremost, the Mountain Forum for Peace is such a community. Join us on Action Network and subscribe to the Members Listserv to connect with MFPers and to learn about upcoming opportunities.

Peace is a practice

Whether volunteering for the annual Yard Sale, attending a Forum, working in either of our Peace Gardens, serving on the Board, or submitting work to the Express Your Peace art contest, members of the Mountain Forum for Peace have opportunities to meaningfully contribute to making a healthier, happier, and more peaceful world.

Our work allows us to provide resources to local and international efforts, including youth scholarships, nutrition programs for neighbors in need, and fiscally sponsoring childcare facilities in the developing world.
